The charging system consists of an Alternator, Ecm, Battery Sensor and of course the battery itself. Each item needs to be checked out, the obvious choice when something goes bad, it will test bad, but the sensor is a tough thing to catch when it goes bad. On this car the problem is an intermittent flashing battery light, not all the time, just an occasional flash but yet the charging system is operating just fine. So the cheapest thing to change here, since the battery and Alternator is new would be the sensor that is located on the negative battery cable and it is sold as an assembly, follow along on this midnight auto repair...
