He is a life-long Hawaiian Lifeguard, big wave pioneer, activist, sailor, fisherman and hunter. His work with the Polynesian Voyaging Society and as Captain of the Hokule'a has helped to spread a world-wide message pushing for change in the way we take care of our Mother Earth. Archie has truly been a compass for our brand and mission at Amavara, and we are honored to receive his guidance!
