MoneyLion, founded in 2013, is a fintech startup that offers lending, financial advisory, and investment services to consumers. The an award-winning and data-driven digital financial platform, has successfully completed the public listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at the end of September.

The company was formed by a team of tech experts and financiers, who developed the platform's analytics and machine-learning technology to offer mobile banking, tailored investment and personalised solutions to individuals based on their spending patterns to the US market. Headquartered in New York City, the company also operates in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Co-founder Foong Chee Mun, the first Malaysian fintech founder on the NYSE says they plan to bolster and double the size of its Malaysia-based technology centre of excellence in the next 12 months. He also points out that at MoneyLion, they bring consumer finance by combining artificial intelligence, machine-learning technology and behavioral science to create a full-service, digital financial platform for their users.
