Welcome to the second part of eBay’s guide to registering a business account.

Once you’ve registered with eBay you need to link your business account to your PayPal account.

This makes it easy to receive money from buyers and pay your seller invoice at the end of the month.

You will have already selected PayPal as your payment method when creating your eBay login. Now you just need to link the two.

Sign in, go to My eBay and click the Account tab. Choose the PayPal tab in the left hand menu and hit ‘Link my PayPal account’. You need to login to PayPal through this menu to complete step one. Once this is done, click the ‘Return to eBay’ link. You may be prompted to sign in again. Go back to the “account” tab, and click on “PayPal Account” on the left navigation. Click ‘Become Verified’. You will then be asked to log back into PayPal. This will finish linking your accounts.

Your PayPal account is now successfully linked to your eBay store. You’re ready to sell on eBay.

Remember to list with great photos and detailed descriptions of your items. To discover more tips on being a successful seller on eBay, go to seller centre dot ebay dot com dot au.
