This documentary shows how Colin Huizing and Cees de Boer visited Venice and the Dutch Biennale Pavilion with artist herman de vries to explore the possibilities for his participation in la Biennale di Venezia 2015 in may 2014.

The resulting proposal was selected by the jury of the Mondriaan Fonds.

The final exposition differs from the proposal on some points. E.g. the work 'winter vegetations' has been exchanged for a work that herman de vries has made specially for the occasion: 'from the laguna of venice – a journal'.

You can visit the Biennale di Venezia 2015 from may 9th until november 2015.
