Rabinder Singh was a family of zamindars from Amritsar in Punjab who took part in Operation Bluestar as an officer in the Indian Army. He came to Raku on deputation after serving in the Army for some time. In his book, AS Dulat, a former RAW officer, writes that Rabinder Singh spent most of his time hanging out with girls while on duty in Holland, drinking and telling strangers things not to say.
