Finally got some Dicrossus filamentosus for the 40 gallon blackwater tank, 8 of them. They are so tiny and cute. I decided to put them in a 10 gallon quarantine tank for a while since they are wild caught. Probably a good idea as they seem to be very finicky eaters and the cardinal tetras and pencilfish in the 40 gallon are very voracious eaters. They are spitting out all the food I give them but it is possible that they are going back and eating it when it softens up because I don't see a lot of uneaten food collecting at the bottom of the tank but just in case I am hatching out some baby brine shrimp for them.
