Hi Folks
We hope you like our new cover of Easy like a Sunday morning, made famous by Lionel Richie and the Commodores.
We've been studying/experimenting with different recording techniques for live drums and found some great advice about the "Chad Blake" technique for recording with one mic. You place the hot spot of your condenser mic parallel with the snare under the mid tom and this gives the best overall result for the whole kit. We mixed it in on Ableton live 10 along with a fretless bass sample from the Yamaha CP4 stage piano.
Any recording feedback/comments much appreciated as always.
