Practical Geometry

In geometry, the word 'construction' is used for drawing a correct and accurate figure from the given data. To acquire this skill, we shall learn to draw some figure using the various tools available in our instrument box like graduated ruler, compass, divider, protractor and set squares. Graduated ruler is used to draw line segments and to measure their lengths. Length is also measured with the help of a divider and a ruler. Compass is used to mark off equal length and to draw the arcs and circles. The
protractor is used to draw angles.
