In 1862 the confederates fought the union just west of Tucson Arizona. This battle not only signified the farthest west the Confederacy would advance, but also their high water mark.
In this video I discuss the battle of picacho pass, a battle that occurred between small groups of union and confederate cavalry near what is now the picacho peak national park.

I do my best Tom Scott impression to explain the battle in this video as I leave my hiatus.

I just wrapped up moving today, been a long month packing, traveling, then waiting as I got settled into the wonderful state of Tennessee. My uploads are going to be inconsistent and low quality for the time being but I plan to get back to regular uploads soon.
