It is interesting mashing together a side-scrolling beat 'em up with an action RPG. It works better than I thought, and it's also beautiful. The art style is on point, same with the colors, love how vibrant the game is. I do think the game plays well, it's always a bit awkward in 2D, as you can't attack up or down.
There seems to be a pretty robust gearing system, there are also a ton of skills to unlock as you gain levels. It's an interesting combination of elements making up this game, it does fall a bit flat for me with how many other games are doing it better, but if you like beat 'em ups, you should give it a try.
