Peace Parks is the leading NGO managing large ecosystems on the ground in many African countries. The combined land Peace Parks looks after are about 12 million hectares.
The Peace Park Foundation, founded in 1997 by Dr. Anton Rupert, President Nelson Mandela and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, is an organization that aims to re-establish, renew and conserve large ecosystems in Africa, transcending man-made boundaries by creating regionally integrated and sustainably managed networks of Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs).

NOAH has been working with its NOAH Zurich 2021 speakers to find new revenue opportunities (e.g. Carbon Credits) and ways to stop the poaching. Since indigenous people are the people on the ground, we aim to include them to deliver the first while reducing the poaching. This is our thesis, the concept of the Data Alliance. Companies like Cybertracker are an excellent example that wildlife conservation can go hand in hand with indigenous people.

The dialogues with Werner Myburgh and Colin Porteous have been the key driver of NOAH becoming a force for nature. We at NOAH are very thankful for the guidance we received from the PeaceParks team.

This interview is a fascinating 40 minute look behind the curtains of the most prestigious conservation land organisation in the World. It's time to stop the leakage and support the organisation which have land management mandates versus pure fund raising missions with a massive admin overhead.
