Rob can’t stop looking for natural deer food, even on a day he’s supposed to be relaxing!
Diane’s Jewelweed salve recipe.
*Jewelweed leaves, flowers and stems, * comfrey leaves, *calendula flowers, *coconut oil, *olive oil, * grape seed oil, *two drops tea tree oil, optional 5 drops grape fruit seed extract.
Simmer plant material in enough oil to completely cover plants, do not boil.
Use 50% coconut oil, a squirt grape seed oil and the rest olive oil .
When plant matter is very soggy strain oil and smash plant matter to get as much oil and plant juices out.
Discard plant matter.
Add the tea tree oil and optional grapefruit seed extract.
Reheat oil mixture to just below a boil. Jar up into 1/2 pint canning jars.
Cool then refrigerate to solidify.
Use for all skin irritations
