A Flat Clarinet Setup Experiment

Because of the bad intonation of my Leblanc A-Flat Clarinet, I try to do some experiment on it to see what will happen if the mouthpiece or barrel is exchanged to the High G Clarinet ones, which are designed for German bore.

0:00 1. The original Leblanc A-Flat Clarinet Setup: Vandoren Mouthpiece and Leblanc Barrel---Good resistance, healthy tone, but bad intonation.

0:34: 2. Vandoren Mouthpiece and Foag G Clarinet Barrel---Large resistance ( air leakage ?) , bad tone, and bad intonation like 1.

1:33 3. Foag G Clarinet Mouthpiece and Foag G Clarinet Barrel --- Medium resistance, not bad tone, and better intonation than 1. & 2.

Conclusion: Large bore Mouthpiece and Barrel may be a good solution for A-flat Clarinet intonation.
