Best choice for rechargeable AA batteries. DO NOT buy 1.2V NIMH.

Hey all, as always my videos are not PRO edited or flashy. I just share my experiences. This video is to show you the best "type" of rechargeable batteries for your Quest 2 controllers or anything else that uses AA batteries for that matter.

I DO NOT recommend using MiMH or NiCAD rechargeables on your Quest 2 controllers! WHY? Because AA batteries are 1.5 volts and MiMH or NiCAD are 1.2 volts. I had tracking problems using them. Use Lithium's that deliver a true 1.5V.

I bought my Lithium-Ion AA's on ebay. You can buy them where you like. Everyone sells them. I am sure any brand is fine so not just the brand I bought. Just watch the capacity e.g. 3300 MaH vs cheap 1200 Mah. You might see a really good price but find they are 1/2 the capacity. So look close please and get the best value for your money.

This is what I bought on Ebay. They came with the charge cord and you WILL need a charge cord. If you buy more, you can buy them without the charge cord as you will already have one :)

I hope this was helpful, and ENJOY!

Note: I made a mistake not seeing that these are rated in mWh not mAh. 3300 mWh = 2200 mAh. Needless to say the point is to buy the highest capacity you can. There are some for sale that are lower than 3300 or 2200. Don't pay more for less. Now all you nit pickers happy now? LOL.
