How the world’s TALLEST invert KILLED the park that built it

Usually, opening a record breaking coaster is a sure fire way to put a theme park on the map - just look at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, who are still coasting on the fact they opened the world's tallest coaster 30 years ago! However, sometimes it doesn't work out, and unfortunately for them, Fantasy Island found that out the hard way when they opened The Odyssey in 2002. It was the world's tallest and longest inverted coaster when it opened, but instead of promoting the park, it may have been the thing to kill it...
