Export YouTube Chapter Markers from Descript Storyboard

Create markers in Descript and export them as YouTube chapter markers. In this Descript Storyboard tutorial, I walk you through my process of adding editorial markup, adding markers in Descript Storyboard composition, navigating your composition with markers and most importantly, exporting the markers so you can add them to your YouTube video, complete with timestamps.

This will save you time in creating your chapters for your YouTube videos so your viewers can quickly jump to the relevant sections.

It is recommended that you add markers as you edit your composition - whether it’s a podcast episode, interview or tutorial video - if it’s longer than a couple minutes, it’s always advisable to add markers. Descript makes this easy if you add them as you go, then export them in one click.
