≈≈≈ GPWS / Computer Alert Test

CAT stands for Computer Alert Test in Flight, Computer Alert Test is used when time is used (Example: Terrain (when there is ground)).


Pull Up: When the plane is about to hit the ground/whatever
Sink Rate : Alarm to two before the Pull Up
don't Sink : The third alarm before the pull up
Bank Angle : Exceeding safe Bank angle, example more than 30° degree bank
Obstacle Ahead : When in front there is an object
Too Low, Terrain/Obstacle : When the plane is At low altitudes
GlideSlope : When the aircraft is too low or too high from the normal landing altitude
StickShaker : When the Plane Approaches Stall Speed
over speed : When a Plane Exceeds the Speed Limit
Terrain Ahead : When the plane is too close to the ground
Runway Too Short : When a plane lands on a runway that is too short and can result in an accident
Runway Ahead / Runway End : When the runway is coming to an end and could be at risk of an accident
Callout : Measurement of the altitude of the aircraft above the runway..
