e-Way Bill in TallyPrime
TallyPrime’s e-Way Bill solution is simple and is based on regular invoicing activity. For example, if
you use TallyPrime, then you only have to record your sales transactions as usual, and your e-Way
Bill requirements will be covered in the same flow. Important details will be updated in the vouchers
automatically, and you can proceed to print them. Moreover, TallyPrime will ensure that both your
business accounts and compliance requirements are suitably addressed.
TallyPrime also provides you with the flexibility to generate e-Way Bill in bulk for multiple invoices.
If you do not want to generate the e-Way Bill while recording the transaction, then you can select
one or more transactions from the Exchange menu and generate the e-Way Bill No. at your
convenience.
How to Save Views of Reports in
TallyPrime
If you generally refer to your reports for specific details in regular intervals, you will certainly want
to save the report for future reference. For example, you keep a track of the payment dues from
different parties or your inward and outward stock quantities with the opening and closing
balances. You may even want to compare your Balance Sheet or P&L Statement on a quarterly basis
to know how your business is performing. To view these reports with specific details, you will need
to configure them each time – this could be really time-consuming at times. The Save View feature
in TallyPrime Release 2.0 enables you to save the view of a report the way you want for future
reference.
Validate GSTIN and HSN Online in TallyPrime
The information related to a Party’s GSTIN/UIN is a vital part of transactions recorded for the Party. On the other hand, HSN/SAC details are important to identify items, goods, or services in a transaction, as applicable. Furthermore, if your business has a turnover
exceeding Rs. 5 Crore in the previous financial year, then you need to furnish 4, 6, or 8 digit
HSN codes for Stock Items as per new mandate under Notification 78/2020 issued by the
GST authority. Additionally, you need to further Stock Item's accurate descriptions in the
Invoice. So, it is mandatory to enter the correct information related to GSTIN and HSN code in transactions. The entry of the authentic information in the transaction will ensure seamlessness in filing returns and claiming Input Tax Credit, if applicable.
