Wheat flour - 1 cup
Banana - 1
Baking soda - ½ tsp
Baking powder - ½ tsp
Salt - ¼ tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Eggs - 2
Powdered sugar - 2 to 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder as per taste


Hi everyone, today I am here with an easy reach and banana cupcake recipe.

First, add two eggs and a very ripe banana into the jar of a mixer grinder and blend well to form a thick paste.
You can use any banana of your choice but make sure that the banana is really ripe and sweet.

Once the banana and egg paste is ready, transfer it into a large mixing bowl and sieve in a cup of wheat flour, half a teaspoon of baking soda, half a teaspoon of baking powder and a quarter teaspoon of salt.
You can use any drinking glass to measure the quantity of the wheat flour..

Next, mix all these ingredients really well to form a thick batter and then add 3 tablespoons of oil add 2 to 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar as per your taste and some cardamom powder for flavour and mix really well to form a smooth batter.

You can use either oil or butter or ghee for the recipe

When the batter is ready, transfer it into small moulds which has been greased with some oil and then steam it in an Idli maker around 10 to 15 minutes or until the cake rises cooks through completely.

once the cake looks cooked, take it out from the Idly maker immediately and let it cool down completely before you de-mould the cake and serve..

Make sure to maintain a medium uniform temperature while baking/steaming.
