It was started in the year 1975 by Smt.S.G.Susheelamma and Secretary Smt.M.Kanthamma. Our organisation is Registered under the Karnataka societies registration act 1960 with its registration no.212 dated 16.10.1975. The objective of our organization is to bring the revolution in the lives of poor and needy people towards main stream society by providing free Shelter, Food, Health, Hygiene, Education, Rehabilitation, Training and basic needs especially for the development of children and women. It has grown in to a pioneering institution with activities ranging into most fields of women and child care. Some of its activities include Literacy, vocational training, community development, health, housing, family counseling and legal aid, awareness on various socio-economic issue related to property rights, domestic violence, dowry harassment, formation of SHG, self-employment, note books issue to BPL children, construction of toilets to the rural people, protest against anti-social evils and human rights are conducted periodically.
In addition to this old age home and short-stay home are running with free boarding, shelter and medical care. Family counseling center is working to control domestic violence in the community towards ensuring women rights at large. Schools and Primary health centers are working for the betterment of the society.
TO BRING change into the lives of many neglected lives with a minimal budget, committed staff and volunteer support we strive to provide hope, first and foremost, for our residents.
