Accidentally Archived Instagram Story Before 24 Hours - How To Restore Archived Stories On Instagram. Hey everyone, welcome back to Error Genie! In today’s video, I’m going to guide you through how to unarchive an Instagram story if you’ve accidentally archived it before 24 hours and how to unarchived it back. Let’s jump right into it!

First, launch the Instagram app and go to your profile by tapping your profile picture in the bottom right corner.

Once on your profile, tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to open the menu.

In the menu, select Archive. Here, you’ll see all your archived posts and stories. Browse through the list of stories and select the one you accidentally archived.
For example, if it was uploaded 1 minute ago and archived, you can easily find it here.

To unarchive, tap the three dots in the bottom right corner of the story. You’ll see the option to either Delete it from the archive or Share it again.

If you want to re-upload the story, tap the Share option. From here, you can make any adjustments you like, such as adding music or stickers, and then hit Your Story to post it again.

If you want to remove a memory associated with the story, simply drag it to the trash bin icon.

And that’s it! Your archived story will be removed from the archive and reposted if you choose to share it again.
