POP Montreal POP Shots Episode 1 : Look Vibrant

POP Shots is a new series of sessions presented by POP Montreal and hosted by Best Fit and Oh! Canada. The series features exclusive live performances from local Montreal artists.

Experimental-pop project Look Vibrant were formed by Justin Lazarus and Matt Murphy. The band have now expanded, adding more harmonies, and more bounce to their hypnotic pop sound. For this take on "Born Smart" they have also been joined by several members of the Pop Shots team, wielding various cardboard chimneys, clouds and other cartoon like coloured objects, only adding to the dream-like nature of proceedings.

The band have recently played shows with Alvvays, Alden Penner (The Unicorns) and Seoul, and will also be playing Pop Montreal's SXSW showcase at Maggie Mae's on 19 March alongside Lyric Michelle, Young Paris, Socalled and Bomba Estéreo from 1.30pm
