How I draft pants patterns for my BJDs

Hey, everyone! Today I'm approaching one of the subjects I get asked about veeeery frequently... how do I make a pattern for BJD pants?
In this video, I'll share the method I use and what measurements are used, where I diverge from the "rules" of pattern drafting, and why following human pattern drafting rules strictly doesn't always work for our BJDs.

While this pattern could have a seam allowance added to it and be used for something like leggings, it's closer to being a sloper--which is a basic pattern building block--and from this point onward it still needs to have wearing ease added so the doll will be able to move, as well as fit adjustments. I'll cover how I approach those tasks in the future, but for now, I encourage you to experiment and start finding your own methods for making this work for YOUR dolls. :)

As I mentioned in the video, I'm taking a little break from my current video schedule so I can tackle some of my biggest projects and finally scratch them off my to-do list.
