An Enhanced Energy Performance Certificate as a Catalyst for Building Renovation in Europe

Описание к видео An Enhanced Energy Performance Certificate as a Catalyst for Building Renovation in Europe

Have you ever thought about what is the biggest energy consumer in the EU? It´s actually the #buildings we live and work in!

They are responsible for 40 % of energy consumption and 36 % of greenhouse gas #emissions. #Retrofitting our building stock is crucial for achieving the 2050 climate targets. The #EUGreenDeal and its amended Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) have created a strong new wave of #BuildingRenovation

TIMEPAC will help improve existing energy performance certification (#EPC) processes and upgrade the already existing certificates with more and reliable data. Thus, they no longer consider the buildings as static, but as an active part of the whole #environment. The project´s goal is on facilitating a continuous flow of data throughout all stages of the certification process: from generation to storage, analysis and operation.
