Leaving is one of the hardest decisions we face in life. Sometimes, we stay in situations—whether a job, a relationship, or a place—so long that we become numb to the pain or unfulfilled dreams it brings. We get used to the familiar, even if it's holding us back. Yet, when the ache becomes a part of every day, leaving can become the last and only medicine. It’s bitter, it’s daunting, but it can also be freeing.

This song is inspired by my book قهوة الصامدين in a piece called The Last Medicine. Through these lyrics, I hope to capture the courage it takes to step away from what no longer serves you. It’s a reminder that you deserve better, even if the journey ahead feels uncertain.

Let this song be a call to all of us: to recognize when it’s time to walk away and trust in the strength that comes with new beginnings. No matter how hard it is to let go, remember, you deserve the best. The best is yet to come.
