The Pulse Polio Immunization Programme is a nationwide initiative to maintain India’s polio-free status by vaccinating all children under five years of age. It is conducted annually under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Target Group: Children aged 0–5 years

Coverage Goal: Over 62.4 lakh children across the state

Vaccine Supply: 99 lakh doses distributed statewide
