Okay, wow, I am so sorry I've been off the radar so much! I'm so so sorry that I broke my promise to upload monthly. I just did not have any time to put something together because of schoolwork and other things, and whenever I did have time, I would either get sick or have technological troubles. The software I normally use for these videos doesn't work on my new computer. While the software I now use is really good for editing cool videos, it makes making simple lyrics slide-shows like this take much longer. Luckily, the end of the school year is swiftly coming, which means more time for stuff! :D
Anyways, I had a blast making this cover. I'm especially proud of the lyrics (although in retrospect, I realize that there's a lot of places where the emphasis is on the wrong syllable , or words sound weird. So I apologize for that). I've always liked the theory that this song is Frisk's battle theme, and I hope that I managed to capture the atmosphere of PURE DETERMINATION surrounding this battle. I wanted to get a kind of righteous anger feel to it. Most covers I saw were either really cheesy, the singer was off-key, or the lyrics weren't very creative, ect. The hardest part was definitely recording it. It's a powerful track, and it took a LOT of effort to pull out that needed power in my voice. I lost count of how many times I sang it to get it just right without sounding strained! Not to mention getting the harmonies and backups right. I know it's definitely not perfect, but I hope you approve of what I've created.
Next up on my list is "Star", "His Theme", "Bring it On" from the UT Alternate Timeline spin-off series "Glitchtale" by Camila Cuevas, and even more! So stay tuned everybody! Thank you so much for your time. Have a great day, and God bless! :)
