Take My Breath Away foi o segundo single do álbum da trilha sonora de Top Gun, após "Danger Zone" de Kenny Loggins, e foi lançado em 1986 como um single dividido ao lado da música "Radar Radio", interpretada por Moroder com Joe Pizzulo.

A canção alcançou o primeiro lugar na Billboard Hot 100, e também liderou as paradas no Reino Unido, Holanda, Irlanda e Bélgica.

Take My Breath Away is a song written by Giorgio Moroder and Tom Whitlock for the 1986 film Top Gun, performed by American new wave band Berlin. It won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1986.

Take My Breath Away was the second single from the Top Gun soundtrack album, following Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone", and was released in 1986 as a split single alongside the song "Radar Radio", performed by Moroder featuring Joe Pizzulo.

The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and also topped the charts in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland and Belgium.

Angelo Torres is a Rio saxophonist and one of the great names of the Saxophone in Latin America, and his main characteristic is the fusion of Pop with Smooth Jazz. He is a speaker, gives workshops and instrumental shows throughout Brazil and the United States. He participated in national and international tours and also recordings with great names of Brasilian Gospel music.

In his solo career he has 10 CDs and 1 DVD with many guests, in addition to the special participation of American saxophonist KIRK WHALUM. Currently, in addition to his shows, tours and workshops, he divides his time in the production of his Instrumental Music Program on youtube - AT JAZZ Music.
