99-04 Mustang PATS Key Programming using ForScan

Using ForScan to program additional Keys for the 99-04 Mustang when you don't have two keys. This video will show erasing all existing keys and programming 2 new keys using the software. Please note: This video does not go into detail on how to install and use ForScan and assumes you have some prior experience with it. It's a widely supported software, with good support on forums and Facebook as well as here on YouTube.

I later add a 3rd key via the easier procedure outlined in the owners manual for when you already have 2 programmed keys.

You will need ForScan, with extended license and a way to interface the vehicle via OBD2 port.

Strattec Key: P/N 597602 Do yourself a favor and order just this key and not a cheap Amazon china copy. If one of the two keys fails to register for any reason, you will be stuck in programming loop and unable to pair any keys unless you have two keys that will register completely.
