Desires (Empty and Quiet) is a dreamy and reflective piece inspired by the Deanna Lind poem, Impaled Fairy Tale and created by Rod Skelley.

Set in an alternative tuning, it flows with awkward arpeggiated melodies. It is performed on a Taylor 814ce nylon acoustic electric with a crossover classical style of play. There are two versions of Desires on the Attachments album, one for solo guitar (Empty and Quiet) and the other for guitar, percussion, synth, bass, and electric guitar.

This poetic video was created by Bonnie Jane Skelley .

Attachments is an exploration of meditative concepts through dreamlike compositions and sounds. Combines diverse elements of new age, classical, industrial electronic and soundtrack into an intricate web of textures and colors.

Rod Skelley is a musician and composer based in Central Pennsylvania. He records Indie Rock both as a solo singer/songwriter and as a member of the band, Infused. His unique instrumental creations are in the genres of New Age, Crossover Classical, and Industrial Electronic.

I want….I need…..Give me…..More…..More…..for me…..me……consume…. not for you…..

My desires consume me. I need you to have what you need. My desires empty into compassion.
