Another B52 Deployment related movement. This Omni 772 brought in the ground crews and support staff for the B52 deployment at RAF Fairford currently. 777’s at Fairford are a rare sight so really wanted to get this one. I first of all went up on 25th and no movement all day, the engine cowlings were open so we presumed it went tech. So it night stopped and then we went down the next day and tried again thinking well we could get lucky and see the B52’s go out. Signs were promising for them going with lots of activities and fuel trucks and crews near there but unfortunately they didn’t move and of course the day after they went out. Typical🙄🤣, But we did get the 772 going out finally. So that was good.

The aircraft in question was N819AX a 16 year old ex Kenya Airways example. It has the lovely Trent 800’s my first capture of the those types of engines. We were really lucky to see this because the previous time it came in the middle of night.

Anyway really happy I saw this one. Great to see something rare and different at Fairford and my first Capture of an Omni aircraft, with there brilliant paint scheme. Anyway hope you enjoy I’ve added in a bit of ATC for your enjoyment, Like, comment, subscribe for more aviation content.
