For the first time in the channel's three year history, we are all finally visiting a zoo outside of the U.S. Ladies and gentleman we are heading to France. The Paris Zoological Park or Parc Zoologique de Paris was born in 1934 and as expected, has been a staple attraction ever since. Though once considered one of the world's most outdated zoos, the park closed from 2008 to 2014 to make way for a massive transformation. Today, Paris offers a unique side of zoos that simply can't be found anywhere else. I could tell you, but I'd rather show you.

This episode explores the Patagonia biozone, a protected but hardy region in the southern most parts of South America. When a zoo presents South America, there's a chance your mind will think of their rainforests first. The Patagonia attraction shows off three different environments - the Pampas, rocky shores, and the montane forests, furthering the guests appreciation for the continent's lesser known life.
