In this session, we pay tribute to a personal family favorite: the legendary Farid El Atrash, one of my personal favourites (and my late father’s , piece be upon them both) .. She’s playing his song : Alashan Malesh Gherak ..
Her teacher has packed this arrangement with technical challenges—perhaps more than the song strictly 'needs'— but with a clear purpose: to give Estella a complete vocabulary of skills. From refined bowing to exploring the higher soprano range on the E-string, she is learning the rules so that one day, she can choose exactly how to break them
