On Thursday, March 3, 2016, the CSIS Global Health Policy Center hosted a conference on Ethiopia’s health system, its successes, and enduring challenges. This event featured three expert panel discussions on the challenges to the U.S. – bilateral relationship, the major infectious diseases that continue to plague the country, and Ethiopia’s regional leadership in the Horn of Africa. On this day CSIS also launched three new CSIS reports on Ethiopia, based on a recent research mission to Ethiopia to examine the country's health system.
