You may have heard that Naples fl has been ranked the #1 BEST city to live in the US. But today’s video goes beyond Naples, I’m going to showcase the top 3 BEST places to live in the entire United States. I’ve teamed with the TOP agents in these cities so you can hear from the local experts on what makes their towns so unique & desirable.
Naples, Florida has been ranked the #1 place to live in the entire United States. If you’ve ever visited Naples, it’s easy to see why. From our white sandy beaches, to year round warm weather and fine dining, Naples is a luxurious yet laid back coastal town that truly offers something for everyone.
Everything about Naples exudes luxury - the homes, the scenery, the beaches, the yachts & perfectly landscaped roads everywhere you go. Naples has the second highest concentration of millionaires of any city in the United States. Port Royal, a waterfront / beach community was ranked as the most expensive neighborhood in the country, and currently has the most expensive home in the US listed. It’s a family compound with over 9 acres on the beach with over1655 feet of water frontage and an asking price of $295 million.
So what do the wealthiest people in the world see in our town? Let’s start with the obvious. The weather. Besides summer, where it can be excruitatingly hot and humid, the average temp in the winter months is in the 70’s, this alone is one reason why people flock to our community during the winter months. They escape the cold dreary winters in most of the world, and come here for the beach, boating, golf and dining. Naples has a private airport close to everything, a downtown lined with twinkling lights around the palm trees all year round and a calendar full of fun events.
But our beautiful beaches aren’t the only thing that draws people in. The population is only about 350,000 full time residents, and about 450k in the winter months. While you may hear locals complain about the fact there isn’t that much to do, there really is if you’re comparing it other cities that are similar in size. In addition to the beaches, boating & fishing opportunities, Naples has a zoo, an award winning botanical gardens, theaters & playhouses, a Philharmonic center, luxury shopping, There A rated schools, and so many amazing restaurants and eateries that cater to all lifestyles. There are parks around every corner, free parking downtown and walking & biking trails. It’s also known as the golf capital of the world with 108 courses, AND it’s the pickleball capital of the world. Which for you pickleball lovers - is reason enough to visit.
You can also experience a one of a kind place that ONLY exists in Florida and is a 25 minute drive from the center of town, The Everglades.
There are 2 thing people don’t usually bring up but to me it’s one thing that makes our town so charming, the first is that our beaches are not commercialized. You aren’t going to find skyscrapers, boardwalks with shops or billboards in our area. All of the beaches are public and the soft white Sandy beaches actually run the entire length of the coast along Naples which believe it or not, is NOT the case in most Florida towns. And secondly, EVERYTHING is landscaped. From medians along the road, to streets lined with palm trees and flowers, everywhere you look the landscape it clean, cut and pristine.
The average home price is $650k, and we are primarily a second / third / fourth time home location. The majority of communities are gated and offer resort style amenities so you don’t have to leave your neighborhood, and since most people are transplants or only here a few months, its a great way to connect and make new friends.
These are just a few short reasons why the vibrant city of Naples has been ranked the #1 place to live in the US. So what's number 2 & 3?
