About Mr. Matthew Henley - Matthew started dancing professionally in 1997. With BFA in dance from University of Arizona and a further MFA from University of Washington, Matthew has published a number of papers in various dance conferences held across the United States. He completed is PhD in Educational Psychology: Learning Sciences and Human Development from University of Washington in 2013. As an educator, he has taught various Bachelors, Masters and PhD level courses at both Teachers College Columbia University and Texas Women’s University. He was also appointed as the Assistant Editor for JODE (Journal of Dance Educator) between the years 2015 to 2020 and is a Co-chair of A&HD Diversity and Community Committee at Teachers College.
