I'm using my Mixer II to combine the repeating envelopes for a bass synth with the inverted envelope of a kick drum hitting four on the floor. Doing this I can pause the synth everytime the kick hits, which is called sidechaining and creates this ducking effect.

⚙️ The setup:
1. Channel 1 of the mixer receives the repeating envelopes.
2. Channel 2 receives the inverted envelope of the kick drum.
3. The output feeds into the VCA that controls the bass synth.
4. Kick and synth are mixed together.

📹 What happens in the video:
1. 0:03 Blending in the bass synth line with the volume knob .
2. 0:16 Starting the kick without any sidechaining.
3. 0:23 Introducing the inverted envelope of the kick into the envelope mix.
4. 0:36 Starting and stopping the sidechaining and playing with the parameters.
