Assistant Engineer in Jhansi Cantonment Board Recruitment 2019

Qualification in Details:
1. Essential Educational Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualification for the post is – Bachelor Degree in civil engineering (BE or B. Tech) OR Equivalent from a recognized institute.

2. Reservation of Vacancies: There is only 01 (one) vacancy which is of unreserved category.

3. Duties and Responsibilities:

(A) Following works are to be performed with regard to maintenance / construction of building, drains, nullas, roads, underground sewer line & STP, street lighting, water supply and any other engineering work. 1. Site Inspection, Survey, Planning 2. Preparation of Design, Drawing, Estimates and Tenders 3. Execution of Civil Development Works, Supervision of Sites 4. Preparation of Measurement Book and Payment to Contractors 5. To ensure quality work being carried out by contractors 6. Any other task / duties as directed by the CEO / Board.

(B) Following works are to be performed with regard to Land matters 1. Site inspection for unauthorised construction and encroachments 2. Preparation of reports, notices as per Cantonment Acts and PPE Act etc. 3. Perform duty for demolition of unauthorised construction and encroachment 4. Attend Courts for evidence and appeals at Command Headquarters 5. Deal with Right To Information applications, Transfer of Properties, Parliament questions, and building plans 6. Any other task / duties as directed by the CEO / Board.
