Grebe's have difficulty walking on land, and can't take of and fly without water. From the air a puddle or a wet road it looks like a nice place to land. When that happens they end up stranded, unable to take off again. This Clark's Grebe was found by a concerned citizen. Thanks to everyone involved in giving this Western Grebe a second chance!
