In this lecture, I have described the Tebbe olefination process. This is a selective and relatively less reactive reagent for olefination (C=CH2) compared to Wittig reagent. This video mainly describes the application and examples associated with this process. More precisely, Tebbe olefination reaction for carbonyl, ester, acid chloride amide, etc. functional groups In the previous video, I have already described the basic concept and mechanism related to this reaction. Previously, I have uploaded a few videos about the Wittig reagent and associated olefination process.
