Explore new methods of printmaking at home by learning drypoint on Plexiglas! This intermediate printmaking course (ages 12 and up), led by Courtney Donahue, will teach you how to prepare your plate, etch your image, and properly ink and print with your etched plate.

Supplies to gather at home:
Plexiglas (cut to your preferred size)
single-cut file
etching needle or Exacto knife
metal spoon
intaglio ink (use a water-based ink for easy at-home clean-up!)
permanent marker
mat board chips or pieces of cardboard
rag
newsprint
copy paper
printmaking paper
water in spray bottle
sketch, image to transfer to plate

Courtney Donahue is a Gallery Associate at The Rourke. She attends MSUM where she is pursuing her degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Printmaking.
