Lets look again at the Modern Mass Flower Arrangement-FLORISTRY/FLOWER ARRANGING-Italian Mass Design

A few weeks ago I looked at the Italian or Modern Mass, a design inspired by Italian design and architecture. Mass designs require large, bold, round flowers instead of line, filler and transitional materials.

This arrangement follows patterns and structure to make a formal design with the container being an integral part of the flower design. Inspiration should be taken from Italian culture and design and this type of design is ideal for interpretative design or grand statement pieces.
