This live 1950 kinescope stars Richard Hart as TV's first Ellery Queen. This series ran three seasons on Dumont with Lee Bowman taking over the lead role after the untimely death of Hart at age 35. Quality suffers because of kinescope source but still a great example of the early, staged look, of live '50s television.
