KSP - Phobos 2 - Pure Stock Replicas

So we have entered what I call the dark age of Martian exploration. Between 1975 and 1996 there are only two Mars missions and they both end in failure. The first is Phobos 1 and 2. Phobos 2 did at least make it into Mars orbit but it was eaten by a shadow monster before it made it all the way to Phobos.

Nether the less I think the Phobos Program was a ground breaking mission which was very fun to recreate. Duna's moon has a much larger gravity well then Phobos so extra fuel and slick flying is required. Retrospectively I wish I'd sent two huge asteroids to Duna and used them as the moons then use Ike's shadow to explain one of Phobos 2's photos. That would have been the smart thing to do.

Did I mention more folding stock solar panels! The nose cone is even the right size now :D
