BARE USA is a nation wide photography project that contrast natural beauty with man-made decay. This contrast is achieved by photographing nude models in abandoned locations.

You like exploring abandoned places? Well then your going to like it when BARE USA does some Urban Exploration in Detroit MI. In this video you will see the ruins of Detroit like the Lee Plaza, the Packard Plant, the Fisher Body Plant 21, and more! Abandoned Detroit is not a myth, in fact there is so much Urban Exploration to do in Detroit I could have just done a whole project on that alone.

The idea of exploring Detroit alone was daunting and intimidating, but as I was unable to find anyone to show me around I had no choice. I ignored the warnings, some possibly exaggerated, most probably valid, and headed out on my own. I don't know if I was just lucky but my ignorance seemed bliss as I wandered from location to location not once feeling in danger.

That being said I was able to see everything I wanted to see and I pulled off a very successful photography shoot in the end. It was difficult to choose just one location but the final results assured me that I made the right decision in the end.
