Japan Part 1 (Ginzan Obanazawa Onsen Town)

This is the first part of our Japan 2018 video series. I decided to start sharing some of our travel videos as this is one of the best ways to spread some love, especially during this pandemic. The first part is our stay at Ginzanso in the Yamagata prefecture. I think the town itself is called Obanazawa, but when you search the internet, the town is sometimes called Ginzan Onsen.

I'm also currently living alone in Ann Arbor, MI (away from my husband and family) completing a postdoc at the University of Michigan. So what's one of the ways to combat homesickness? Create videos, share it with you, and start this channel!

How to get there: From Tokyo, take Shinkansen to Oishida, local train, then bus or cab to town.
