Datapoint's determination and commitment to provide world-class customer service led the company to produce and sell an innovative solution for incoming business call centers, Infoswitch ACD (Automatic Call Distributor). This system allowed call centers to provide improved customer service, better management oversight and control, and multiple operational efficiencies. This was part of the Datapoint Infoswitch line of related and integrated voice communications products. Like so many Datapoint products, it was very much ahead of its time, and well beyond what other competing companies were offering. The video is presented by Chris Marrou, a well-known TV anchor personality in San Antonio at the time.
