There is no disputing the Targa Florio is the world’s most challenging motor race. 567 turns per lap over the 72km Piccolo circuit. A narrow, bumpy, never-ending sequence of bends. Every lap of the circuit teaches something new, in every lap there is a discovery, one is never ‘done’ learning the Piccolo della Madonie. A race against the clock, but on a common circuit of competitors. Two drivers per car and a reckless spirit required.

It takes luck, courage and most importantly experience to win the Targa Florio. Coming for his first visit with a loaned car from Ford Team France, how will Richie fair on racing’s most challenging test? A result at the Targa Florio would cement any driver as one of the best.
