Seaman push the chamber down and get on to the ship. Air-pumps on ship. A diver wearing a gas mask and a diving suit goes in water with the help of a pulley. The chambers float above the water. Men seated on chambers. Hull of the submarine rises up to the surface of the water and then goes down again. Cables in the water. Location: Portsmouth New Hampshire. Date: July 14, 1939.
